Background and Specialization

Michael Sever completed his B.S. in 2012 and went to do mechanical testing of volume-sensing CSF shunts at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Afterwards, he worked as a tutor for several years, instructing children in STEM and standardized testing. He was recruited as a laboratory intern by Questek in 2016 and worked under Dr. Thomas Kozmel. Questek brought him on fulltime as a laboratory technician in late 2017 under Chris Kern and the materials applications team.
