Current Role at QuesTek
Manuel Esparragoza recently joined QuesTek’s application engineering team. He is involved in efforts related to development, scale-up, and commercialization of QuesTek’s technology for a wide range of end users in the aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors.
Background and Specialization
Before joining QuesTek in 2018, he worked in the aerospace and oil & gas industries in areas directly related to Polymer Matrix Composite (PMC) materials manufacturing and quality control, process planning for construction of liquid rocket engine testing rigs, and oil refinery maintenance via risk assessment.
He has been active in various professional associations including the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), where he seeks to mentor under-represented minorities in the workforce by providing professional development tools. He also worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Florida’s Institute for Excellence in Engineering Education (IE3), which specializes in engineering education research and the delivery of innovative and effective instructional methods and assessment in engineering undergraduate courses.
