How could being part of a QuesTek-led R&D project team benefit you and your university, research group, association or other organization?

Researchers

Benefits to researchers that work with us can include:

  • Enjoy participating in the design or application of a well-engineered material or material process solution. Enjoy working with some of the world’s foremost material designers and engineers to apply physics-based, computationally-enabled science and create exciting new design tools, analyses or materials that can help transform the world, advance science and technology, and protect the environment.
  • Gain deeper insights. Better understand possible new design tools and materials that use elements or processes of interest to you and your university, association members, industry/research group or other organization.
  • See the practical commercial application of new research and insights. We work with some of the world’s best OEMs/end-users, suppliers, producers and processors. We focus on making scientific and technical advancements that result in large, near-term, bottom-line commercial impact. Join us as we put to work some of the best scientific tools and models in material science, and design impactful new materials and material processes.
  • Minimize contracting problems. We’re very experienced in government contracting, and regularly reviewed and approved by governmental agencies such as DCAA and DCMA. We’re also experienced working in many contract vehicles such as SBIR/STTR contracts, cooperative agreements, grants, other transaction agreements, procurement contracts, etc.

As one example of our support for scientific advancement, we fund the J. Willard Gibbs Phase Equilibria Award which was established in 2007 by ASM International in order to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of phase equilibria, and to honor J. Willard Gibbs as one of America’s greatest theoretical scientists.
