QuesTek completed a Phase I SBIR program under sponsorship by the National Science Foundation that focused on the computational design of a new class of shape memory alloys with fundamentally designed characteristics, possessing longer cyclic lifetime and superior performance for both thin film and bulk applications. QuesTek is now working with a major manufacturer of Shape Memory Alloys to prepare a Phase II proposal that is scheduled for submittal in January 2004. |
