Travel from O’Hare International Airport

We’re located about 17 miles (28 km) from O’Hare. The travel time by car is typically about 30-35 minutes.

By Train

To access our facility by train a traveler can use CTA’s Blue line service at O’Hare Airport, but a traveler must first take the train into Chicago’s downtown Loop and then transfer to either CTA’s northbound Purple or Red line (depending on time of day) and may need to transfer from the Red to Purple line at the Howard Station. There may be as many as 25 train stops, so this is not the quick route!

By Rental Car

To access our facility by car from O’Hare, you can use these driving directions:

  • Take I-190 out of the airport east towards Chicago (stay in the middle lane as you’re leaving the airport).
  • Exit on I-294 northbound (towards Wisconsin) using the right-hand exit (do not exit I-294 southbound, which is a separate earlier exit).
  • I-294 is a tollway and you will reach a toll booth ($0.80 cash charge) shortly after entering I-294 North.
  • Travel north on I-294 about 2 miles and exit (right) at Dempster St. (eastbound). The Dempster exit has separate east-bound and west-bound exits, and the east-bound exit will be your first exit.
  • Merge to the left hand land and proceed 0.5 miles to Potter Road (the first stop light).
  • Turn left and proceed north about 1 mile on Potter Road, where Potter ends at Golf Road (also called Illinois Route 58).
  • Turn right on Golf Road and proceed east about 9 miles to Evanston. Some of the major roads that you will pass over or across include I-94 (Edens Expressway), Skokie Blvd., Crawford Ave. and McCormick Blvd.
  • When crossing McCormick Blvd., you enter Evanston and Golf Road becomes Emerson Street. Continue east on Emerson Street and proceed about 1 mile to Asbury Ave (the 2nd stop light after McCormick Blvd.)
  • Turn right on Asbury Street and go south about 0.5 block to the first available left hand turn. Turn left on Lyons Street and proceed to its dead-end entrance into an alley. Turn left and proceed into the alley. Your first available right hand turn will be the entrance to our parking lot and building.
